Hello, my name is Anne-Marie and hypnotherapy is my passion. I provide bespoke hypnotherapy solutions and am wholly committed to your success.
Hypnotherapy completely transformed my life when I discovered that the solutions to our problems lie within us, if only we have the commitment and an empathic and skilled guide to show the way.
Can you imagine living your best life? A life where you achieve your goals, meeting each new day with the confidence and joy that comes from fully realising all that you are. A life where the positive changes you desire become your reality. I can help you with anxiety, insomnia, phobias, self-confidence, smoking cessation, Parkinson’s, unhelpful habits, weight loss and more. The first step is to contact me to arrange a free consultation where we can discuss how hypnotherapy can help you achieve your goals.
Psychotherapist, DCounsPsych, MBACP
I have my Diploma in Person centred counselling and psychotherapy and also have my certificate in Person centred supervision. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I work in a supportive and non-judgemental way allowing clients to explore issues with a view to improving their emotional and mental well-being
and/or working towards changes they may wish to make in their lives. I support clients to address what may be going on for them in a positive way, enabling them to clarify these issues, explore options, develop strategies and increase self-awareness.
I help with anxiety, depression and can work with highly sensitive people, empaths, those with major life change trauma, betrayal, near death experiences, bereavement, complicated grief and more.
Marie-Anne offers Swedish and Therapeutic massage, Craniosacral therapy, and Reiki.
She trained in Swedish and Therapeutic massage as part of her physiotherapy BSc qualification 1992. She is equally comfortable with providing deep tissue or therapeutic massage for a particular problem (including trigger point therapy and myofascial techniques as required) or with providing a relaxing massage to relieve the stresses and strains of daily life. She can supplement treatment with relevant strengthening, stretching, plyometrics and postural exercises, use therapeutic taping and strapping, mobilise joints as required, analyse posture and help retrain normal movement.
Marie-Anne uses craniosacral therapy to “reach the parts her other therapies can’t reach”. as it can help resolve trauma stored in the body in a gentle and controlled way, through very gentle touch, holding, and “listening” to the body. New mums and babies are welcome to come for a check-up within the first months after birth, when so many birth trauma problems can potentially be helped and ongoing problems prevented. Mums can be treated in combination or separately, to help both people settle into their new relationship, and thrive! clients are treated clothed.
Reiki is a gentle and relaxing treatment which promotes a client’s self-healing and return to a state of balance.. It is done with the client fully clothed, hands on or hands near the body, and is restorative of mind body and spirit.
Contact – via text or ring 07929526499, or email email@example.com
Cost: £55/hour There is a sliding scale available on request, guaranteed for new mums.
Having experienced the positive effects of craniosacral therapy in my own life, I decided to train to be a craniosacral therapist myself. I started training with Body Intelligence in 2020 and as part of my training I am offering practice sessions for the next few months. These sessions are free and for anyone who would like to try craniosacral therapy. Donations of £5-£10 per session towards room hire are welcome.
If you are interested in booking a session or arranging a short introductory call to find out more, please get in touch.
What is Craniosacral Therapy? Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle but potent way of working with the body using a light touch. It supports your body’s innate ability to balance, restore and heal itself as well as helping to reduce stress and build underlying energy (Craniosacral Therapy Association).
