Songs, Gongs and Heart-warming Tea

An Evening Sharing Original Songs, Therapeutic Sound and Heart-warming Tea
Friday 6th January 19:00-21:00
Melissa Bradd is a musician and mobile sound artist. Having worked therapeutically with sound and music over a number of years she has arrived at a meeting of two creative rivers. She would love for you to join the gathering to meet some of her Songs and the two 32” Gongs she has part of her Sound Baths.
The evening will be of two parts.
Part One: A set of songs written by Melissa including ‘Brief Encounter’, ‘By The River’ and ‘Sweet Sailor’. As we are fortunate to have a piano available, she will also share some of her solo piano works/songs.
There will be a short ‘pause’ for comfort to help us unfold into the second part of the evening.
Part Two: Sound Scape/Bath. For this part you are welcome to view as a performance as Melissa from ‘Take 5 Sound’ blends relaxing and therapeutic sounds with Gongs, Singing Bowls, Voice, Conch Shell among other sounds. If you prefer, you can connect as a meditation, receive healing, or lay down to fully embrace. Please bring your own blankets, or mats to lay on as these are not provided.
What is the heart-warming tea you ask? Locally crafted ‘Talamh Tea’ varieties will be blended for you to induce the aromatic and well-being enhancement.
Talamh is the Scottish and Irish Gaelic word for Earth or ground available at https://www.seaveg.co.uk/talamh.html
Although open to anyone who would like to be present ‘pay what aligns with your current finance’ as an exchange is set as a suggested ticket £15-25.
