Seedy Social – Sowing Seeds

A time to:

• drop in and pick up or donate some seeds
• connect with other seed borrowers and growers
• find out about becoming part of the Edinburgh Seed Network and opportunities to collaborate on events and ways to learn more and spread the word about urban seed saving
• spend an afternoon in our food-growing garden tending to and learning together about our seed crops and seeds in the library

It’s not too late to get sowing for summer and autumn crops, so this month we’ll be sowing and learning all about beetroot and chard 🌱

If you’d like to get your hands in the soil for the practical things out in the garden, please come dressed according to the weather. All tools are provided, no experience is necessary, everyone welcome 🌞

This event is part of the community programme at the Salisbury Centre and will be offered on a donation basis.
