An Apple pressing day with cooking & a community fire

Sat 30th October (13:00 – 16:00)

Come celebrate Samhain in community at the Salisbury Centre and join us in the garden for an apple pressing workshop/demonstration  from 13:00 – 16:00 PM.

We will use an apple press to make juice as well as likely cook some apples in/on the fire and maybe other treats!

PLEASE, Feel free to gather and Bring your own apples, or your neighbours apple to be processed. We have got a new beautiful apple press and we would love to share it and get it to use as much as possible with our local community!

This workshop is free yet there is a Suggested donation of £5 for those who can afford it.

No Need to book, just Drop-in!

Other activities on offer on the day might include storytelling, singing, music around the fire as well as a shared Creative Crafting space (i.e. bring your own projects and craft to work on around the fire!)

A labyrinth will be also set out in the garden for people who would like to set some intentions for this turning of the wheel, Samhain! The labyrinth is a wonderful symbol of going inward into our deepest selves, and then emerging out again with new insight! (Instructions are provided on the day)

Fireside intentions

The central fire will be lit in the garden and there will be the opportunity to write down intention for this year Samhain, for this time of the year, and to offer them/burn them into the fire. Come and take some time of inner focus to reflect on what has come and what you would like to see happening in the coming darker months.
