As we head into the colder months, learn how to save both money and the climate with Living Lighter’s Winter Warmer workshop series.
Winter is a time to stay indoors, get cosy, and perhaps indulge in warming food! But as we spend more time at home than ever, many of us may be worried about the cost of keeping warm. Offered by the Living Lighter project, the series will comprise two fun and interactive online workshops to help us reduce our food waste (which means saving money!) and have a low-carbon home.
In this online workshop we will have discussions and activities to cover:
This workshop will give you the information you need to save up to £440 a year and play your part in reducing the impact of food waste and creating a greener Scotland.
Attendees will be asked to keep a food-waste diary for a week before attending the workshop and after, but this is not a condition for attending the workshop. The workshop is free but spots are limited so please register here on Eventbrite. Participants will be emailed a Zoom meeting link prior to the event.
Note: We would love you to attend both Winter Warmer workshops, but they can be attended as stand-alone events. The second workshop on Home Energy will be available to book soon.
This workshop series is made possible with funding from the Climate Challenge Fund.
