The Living Lighter project at the Salisbury Centre has started a monthly ‘community lab’ – a space to share, learn and experiment with different approaches to climate action. As storytelling is a passionate part of the Centre and a powerful way to prompt and inspire, we are looking forward to an evening of stories, crafting and conversation about nature.
‘Folktales and Feathers’
Stories and structures for Living Lighter
A workshop with folk tales and simple book making techniques, using recycled paper and other found materials, led by artist and storyteller Anne Hunter.
Sometimes the wisdom of ancient folktales can give us clues for our own way ahead to the challenges of today. In this workshop there will be an opportunity to listen to and discuss stories as well as explore an artistic response and create structures to help us carry forward ways of living lighter.
What you will need: scrap paper, pencils and/or crayons, scissors
This online workshop is free but spots are limited so please register here. Participants will be emailed a Zoom link prior to the event.
