The Salisbury Centre invites you to join our upcoming conversation about Living Lightly, one of a series of workshops and events as part of our Living Lighter Project, supported by the Climate Challenge Fund.
Following recent insights to the scale of our climate challenge, most of us are very concerned and want to know what we can do about it.
While climate change is a global issue, the focus of this discussion will be on the local situation here in Scotland. We often hear about climate change in terms of wildfires and melting glaciers, but why is it relevant in Scotland? We will talk about climate change in general, discuss why we care about it, how it will impact our own lives here and importantly, what our options are for ‘living lighter’ – locally and nationally.
Please join us on Zoom on Wednesday 26th August, 3-4:30pm for this special discussion. The workshop is free but spaces are limited so please register here on Eventbrite. Participants will be emailed details to join the Zoom session prior to the day.
