Help us celebrate the opening of our community seed library and Climate Fringe Week with a hands-on seed saving workshop!
As part of the Edinburgh Seed Network, the Salisbury Centre Seed Library Project is excited to open its doors. In this hands-on introductory workshop, we will look around the thriving food and wildflower garden and learn to notice seeds. We will practically explore various seed-saving techniques and how to store different types of seed. As well as adding to the Centre seed library, we will also discuss creative ways to start saving and sharing seeds in your own community!
If you have any open pollinated seeds saved that you may want to deposit in the Centre’s new seed library, please bring them along. You are welcome to take the seeds you harvested during the workshop and any from the library home with you.
This workshop is free but spaces are limited. Be sure to register and please let us know if you need to cancel so someone else can take the spot. For any questions regarding the workshop content email firstname.lastname@example.org, for anything regarding the Salisbury Centre including accessibility feel free to get in touch and email email@example.com.
Workshop made possible with funding from the Edinburgh Council Community Grant Fund.
