People have been seed saving for thousands of years: whether to preserve local plants, improve quality, save money, connect to our food, or to share with others! It’s easy and fun, but did you know that growing a plant to eat is very different to growing to save its seed?
In this interactive workshop, we will go through the most common plants that people grow, and how you can grow and save their seeds. From controlling cross-pollination, knowing how many plants to grow to get healthy seeds, and choosing what to plant where, learn with experienced seed saver Hannah Brazil.
This workshop is free but spaces are limited, so be sure to register here on Eventbrite.
Participants will be sent the Zoom link closer to the date.
