Having ‘The Climate Change Talk’

An online workshop on talking to friends & family about climate change.

The winter festive season is a time of togetherness, with celebrations and conversations to be shared with friends and family. It can also be a time of friction when our views on topics important to us, like climate change and the environment, clashes with those closest to us. But we know that talking to others is one of the most powerful tools in collective climate action. How can we have productive conversations that don’t end in upset or embarrassment, but perhaps in connection and motivation?

Join us for this online workshop to explore how to have good conversations, being an active listener, and helping others to feel like they too can do something about climate change! The Surefoot Effect has specially adapted this workshop from a Carbon Conversations session, heralded by The Guardian as one of the top 20 ways to save the world from climate change.

Please join us on Zoom on Thursday 3rd December, 7-9pm for this special workshop. The workshop is free but spaces are limited so please register here on Eventbrite. Participants will be emailed details to join the Zoom session prior to the day.

Thanks to support from the Climate Challenge Fund.
