As part of National Tree Week, join us in the garden for a workshop on tree planting and aftercare!
This garden workshop is free but spaces are strictly limited to adhere to Covid-19 safety measures. Be sure to register and only attend if it is safe for you to do so. If you become unable to attend, please cancel your ticket to allow someone else to take your spot.
National Tree Week is the UK’s largest annual tree celebration, marking the start of the winter tree planting season. To celebrate, join us in the garden for a workshop all about tree planting and aftercare to help them grow well!
At the Salisbury Centre we have started planting a forest garden and we will look at some of the trees recently planted. We will also look at growing trees from seed and the best species for small gardens, locations to plant them, mulches and protection methods to use.
Please note: This is a day to learn about tree planting and aftercare, it is not a tree planting event.
This workshop is free but spaces are limited. Be sure to register on Eventbrite. Once spots become full, there will be a waitlist.
