Evening Weekly Mindfulness sessions:
30 minute weekly evening mindfulness drop-in session (held on Zoom), offering the opportunity to welcome some light and compassionate connection into Tuesday evenings.
The session will involve a short, guided compassion-based mindfulness meditation. This meditation will be centred around gently turning towards our inner landscapes with acceptance and kindness, embracing the principle that there is nothing wrong and nothing to fix or change. Instead acknowledging that our thoughts and feelings, even the difficult and less ‘pleasant’ ones, are merely an expression of our gloriously flawed humanity.
All welcome – beginners, cynics, seekers and all those in between.
About the facilitator:
The session will be guided by Amy Nicoll of Rebel Mind.
Amy undertook her teacher training with the Mindfulness Association. She is a member of the Mindfulness Association and participates in regular professional supervision and CPD activities. She completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Mindfulness Studies.
Initially something of a sceptic, Amy was converted to mindfulness through experiencing the subtle but radical shifts that occur when we slow down, turn the volume down, and connect with ourselves. She is now passionate about sharing this with others.
