Dare To Be Present – Mindfulness Retreat
‘Nothing to do. Nothing to be
but what you are already.
Nothing to run from or run towards.
Just this breath.’
Danna Faulds, Just This Breath
We so often live caught up in our heads ruminating…worrying…analysing…planning…
It gets exhausting, doesn’t it? Allow yourself to take a break. Pausing. Checking in with yourself. Grounding and centring yourself. Letting go of the need to control, of expectations and judgements. And observing what arises…
In this day mindfulness retreat, we will explore a variety of practices including: mindful movement, body scan, sitting meditation, walking meditation in the garden and reflective writing.
This event is open to people who have previous experience in practising mindfulness as well as those who are new to it and would like to explore it in a retreat-like format.
The investment for this event is £50.
The facilitator, Anna, is committed to making her offerings as affordable as she can. If you cannot afford this amount, please feel free to get in touch with her as she might be able to offer some spaces at a reduced rate.
There are limited spaces available and registration is required to attend.

Anna hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and works in community mental health, running wellbeing workshops and courses. She is also a certified yoga and mindfulness teacher. Through yoga, Anna discovered the concept of having personal practice as a form of showing up for herself and attending to her needs. Somatic practices and meditation have been a doorway to deep healing for Anna and her decision to get qualified in teaching yoga and mindfulness came from a place of wanting to share what she has found transformational with others.
Anna trusts that deep within us we already are the way we strive for but we might not always see this. Practices that invite us to look inward and expand our awareness can be a way of peeling off the layers of our conditioning to re-connect with our true nature. Anna believes being present is a radical act. It involves courage to hold whatever comes up in a curious, accepting and kind awareness. This can emanate way beyond a yoga mat or a meditation cushion and it allows a way of living that is intentional, authentic and compassionate.
