Current Streams – Lectures, Podcasts and Films to inspire discussion

Lectures, Podcasts and Films to inspire discussion

About this event

Current Streams is hosted by Peach, and at this launch event we’ll be watching and discussing the first episode of the lecture series ‘Awakening from the Meaning Crisis’.

Location: Salisbury Centre Library

Time: 13:30- 15:30  (Arrive from 13:15)

Have you been exposed to ideas too fascinating, too astonishing, too moving to guzzle through alone? Or perhaps you know there’s a whole lot of inspiration out there but can’t ever find the perfect time to really get stuck into the juice of where we are, and what’s going on in the world right now?

Have you heard a podcast recently that literally broke you and is making you rethink history, your identity? Are you sitting on an epic series but you don’t know who to share it with? What is current in the worlds of those coming to the Salisbury Centre? What’s making you cry? Inspiring you? What have you been exposed to that you just can’t wrap your head around?

Current Streams is a space where people can enjoy and discuss resources together: videos, albums, podcasts, talks/lectures & films. Current streams is like a short-movie night with a focus on spiritual, psychological and ecological themes, exploring material that’s perhaps too much to take in at home alone on the computer. Think company, (non-alcoholic) drinks, snacks, a projector, and the leisurely tide of ideas and conversation, time to reflect and time to talk things through. Think connection, interest, inspiration & insight. This is a queer & trans friendly, non-violent, and open to all space.

Come along to find out about future events, and how you can get involved!
