Community Draft Excluder Sewing Workshop
Tuesday 17th and 31st of January
We would like to invite you to join us in making draught excluders. These are simple sausages made of fabric, stuffed with rags to put at the bottom of doors to lessen the heat loss from ill fitting doors. We will make them from scratch with sewing machines and decorating them so they become a cheerful feature in their own right!
We request is you have any old tights and fabric (for example old sheets) to please bring this with you.
Materials will be provided by the centre however, this is a good opportunity to upcycle your old materials.
Biscuits, tea, coffee and warm room will be provided by the centre.
