In the midwinter of 1972,
with a yellow rose blooming in the garden,
the first Salisbury Centre resident community moved into the Centre.
Over the New Year candles were lit
and the house was dedicated
with prayers said in all the rooms,
and on 1st January 1973
the Centre opened its doors to the public.
You are invited to commemorate this event by gathering together in meditation, and with open hearts and the light of our candles we will give gratitude to that which Centre stands for: a home for all those seeking Healing, Love, Wisdom and Truth.
31st December 2022 – from 22:00 ( into the new year)
Please inform us if you intend to come (so that we can cater for numbers) by emailing Geetam at : firstname.lastname@example.org
Any contribution of food is welcome.
Please note there will be no entry after 23.30pm.
Since then, the Centre has continued to grow and evolve
as a space where people can explore
and discover their physical, psychological and spiritual selves,
unifying mind, body and spirit
as symbolised by the centre’s logo,
the Celtic trine.
This evening will also energetically start the count-down toward a larger 50th Anniversary Celebration week and re-union happening in June 2023 (18th – 25th)
