At the Autumn Equinox, we enter the darker part of the year’s cycle. It’s a time to celebrate this Summer’s harvest, in its many forms, and to decide what to leave behind and what to carry into the the darkness of the coming season! The intentions we set around this time will stay with us throughout the winter and carry us into the Spring. This year, the Equinox itself, when the day is of equal length to the night, takes place on the 23rd of September.
As summer draws to an end and many people are coming back to town with stories and adventures, we invite you to gather with us again in our abundant garden and celebrate the Equinox in a small-scale way on Monday 18th of September. All welcome – whether you’ve been to the Salisbury Centre before or not.

Fireside supper & Activities~(Bring & Share)
Depending on what people bring, there might be different activities on offer, including walking the Equinox labyrinth spiral, a space to share creativity around the fire ! You’re also welcome just to come by and spend some reflective time in our Autumn garden.
You’re very welcome to bring any songs, stories, poems or other creative offerings that fit this time of the year to share at the fire space (or to just come along and listen).
Donations
This event is part of the Salisbury Centre community programme and is offered free of charge as we want to make sure it is accessible to anyone. Any donations towards the Salisbury Centre are welcomed, as the Centre’s ability to generate income to meet its running costs has been challenged by the pandemic. There will be donation bowls on the day and you can also donate online on our donations page using the reference AEF (Autumn Equinox Festival): https://www.salisburycentre.org/donate/ Many thanks for your contributions in advance.

The event will take place in the Salisbury Centre garden, which is two steps down from the main building. We have disabled toilets and a wheelchair ramp to access the garden
