The Buddha, in describing the essence of his teaching, said, ‘I teach suffering and the ending of suffering.’ During this weekend retreat we will explore how, through an incorrect view of ourselves and the world, we continuously create suffering for ourselves and each other. We will go on to take a fresh look at life that can enable a different way of seeing that leads both to a diminution of our own suffering and can also support others in their quest for peace and happiness. Attendance for the whole weekend is strongly recommended. Cost: Retreat: œ50/œ40 (Concessions). Talk: œ6/œ4 (Concessions).
