COVID Safe Access

16 Aug 21

The Salisbury Centre is a community space and we ask for your help in keeping it safe for everybody and minimising potential harm by taking responsibility for minimising risk of transmission of Covid-19.

Please remember that others using the centre may have vulnerabilities to infection that you might not be aware of.

We have taken care to implement Covid safety measures including a full risk assessment, which is available on request.

We offer a number of separate spaces and rooms of various sizes that allow comfortable and quiet safe distancing possibilities, including outdoor spaces. See Our Rooms for more information.

We ask you to follow these guidelines when attending the centre:

  • If you are experiencing any symptoms which might indicate Covid-19, or have tested positive, please do NOT attend the centre.
  • Please follow the current government guidance if you are a close contact of somebody with Covid-19.
  • Please carry out a Lateral Flow Test before attending any event at the Centre.
  • Please respect other users by wearing a face covering when indoors. This is to protect others who be, or care for people who are, clinically vulnerable, and so that everybody feels safe. If you are unable to wear a mask we request that you wear the lanyard to represent this to reassure other centre users.
  • If you become ill whilst at the centre please inform the session leader, go home immediately, and self-isolate while you seek medical support.
  • If you test positive for Covid-19 after attending the centre, please follow current contact-tracing protocols, giving contact details for your session leader and the Centre.
  • Think about the safest way for you to travel to and from the centre.
  • Please follow all current relevant government guidelines when attending the Centre (please note, as of 24 January 2022, the legal requirement for physical distancing and limits on gatherings has been removed).

For room bookers (community groups, facilitators, private hires), it is your responsibility to ensure that your activity is risk assessed and complies with the latest government Covid safety guidelines and any specific guidance for your sector/type of activity. We also ask that you ensure attendees follow the above safe access guidelines.
