In March 2021, a group of people who manage community spaces in Edinburgh came together for the first meeting of the Community Buildings Network.
This network exists to enable peer support and sharing of learning related the care and management of buildings, and this first meeting focused on how we had all been coping and continuing to support our communities through the pandemic when public spaces were required by law to be closed.
The next meeting will take place via zoom on Wednesday 1st September 2021 at 11am, and will be looking at sharing learning around the challenges of re-opening as Covid restrictions are lifted. If you are involved in running a community space, you can book your free space via Eventbrite here.
We hope this will become a regular space for community buidlings to network and connect, with future potential topics including energy efficiency improvements.
We are graetful for the support of Scottish Communities Alliance Community Learning Exchange and the Climate Action Network.
